Gas Coupons & Fishing Bait

This past summer I am filling up my car at the local gas station and as I push the door open to pay for my purchase I announce "Pump Eight" so that the young lady can see on her machine that I owe about $30 for my gas. I whip out some Gas Coupons that I have been saving that come to about $1.50 off. She runs my charge card and asks me to sign here. I look at the slip and it 'looks like' I am only paying $0.30 ? I give it the old once-over but it still looks like I am paying $0.30, so I sign the slip, rather then protest. Just as I am about to leave, a young man that was kind of helping the young lady emerges from the back room with a puzzled look on his face and styrofoam container in his hand. He calls out to me "Don't you want your bait?" A few seconds later I see what has happened: She has thought I said "Bait" when I first walked in.

What is it with me and coupons? Some kind of gift or curse? You be the judge! =)
